I’m a single gal who is traveling the world solo. I started in January 2016. The first year of this blog was about the mental, physical, and psychological preparations for vagabonding open-ended as well as an attempt to inspire and motivate others to follow their dreams.
Since my departure the blog has focused on my personal journey, my experiences, and again, a desire to inspire you to take the leap, or at least the first tentative steps, toward living YOUR dream life, whatever that looks like.
I’m a lifelong amateur astronomer (telescopes, not horoscopes), a chemist by education, and a full-time freelance book editor by trade. I love that I can take my work on the road and travel the way I have always wanted to.
I have now been around the world and to 21 countries. They include Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Philippines, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, England, Morocco, Ecuador, Peru, and Mexico.
As of June 2018 I am slowing down and determining where I want to settle for a while. I don’t care to ever live in the US again, and I’m leaning heavily on establishing residency in Thailand.
Thanks for visiting. Please check back periodically!
